The first month of 2016 is almost behind us, and I am excited to share photos from Whitney and Cody's wedding on January 9th at the John Oliver Michael House in Statham. This precious couple met almost ten years ago when they were in 8th grade at separate schools. They had connected through social media prior to meeting in person and life's events caused them to go in different directions but each never forgot the other. Shortly after graduating from high school, they reconnected and have been a couple ever since.
This was my first wedding at the John Oliver Michael House! It's such a beautiful venue: gently rolling terrain, majestic trees, a comfortable one-hundred thirteen year-old farmhouse for the bridal party to get ready in, lovely grounds, The Oliver--the reception hall, and the on-site coordinator, Brittany, who was a joy to work with. And, the good news is that the rainy weather held off until after the ceremony! As Cody and Whitney begin their lives together in southern California, where Cody is in the Marines, I wish for them much joy and success!
